Front-Trends is an independent conference for professional web developers and companies who employ a web or mobile developer workforce. Prominent front-end developers and UX/UI designers from across the globe will speak to an audience of over 550 professionals at Front-Trends 2018 in Warsaw. Watch Front-Trends In Action on YouTube.
The conference has run annually since 2010 and covers code and design trends in web development: HTML5, CSS, JS and ES, Frameworks, CSS Animation, Performance, IoT and more. Non-technical topics in startup ecosystems, project management and front-end product management are also welcome.
Front-Trends 2018 is also an opportunity for businesses to interface with the developer community, allowing sponsorship for booth space and other forms of engagement. Partners have ranged from Google, Microsoft, Mozilla, Heroku and Adobe to local startups, small businesses, web developer agencies and media outlets like Thomson Reuters and Smashing Magazine.
Facts & Figures
The event was first launched in 2010 in response to a lack of affordable, high quality events in Central and Eastern Europe and has remained completely independent, created and organized by the same community of professional web developers it serves. The conference runs on a single-track, with 30-minute talks over 2 days. Smaller 5-10 minute sessions called lightning talks are available for attendees to pitch their ideas or showcase their work to the main audience between main talks.
Tickets cost €299 and provide access to all conference venues, parties and catering services. Group or sponsored discounts are available. Equality Scholarship will be released in the near future. Speakers can apply on the website, and volunteers can also apply to staff the event. Sponsors and partners can also reach out to [email protected] for opportunities.
