Maciej is a web developer at the core, who often speaks out from his vantage point of tech entrepreneur, social critic, and writer. His occasional editorials have been featured in Wired and The New York Times.

After leaving Yahoo in 2009, where he worked as a backend developer for a visual airfare search engine called FareMaps, Maciej founded Pinboard—the so-called “anti-social” bookmarking service for introverts.

As an independent contractor, Maciej’s projects have included designing and building an internal data warehouse for Twitter, in addition to building an online book reader, Otwórz Książkę, at the University of Warsaw.

Maciej originally hails from Poland and is currently based in San Francisco, California.
